Our Team
Todd Broadbent – Founder and President
I have been in the home construction and renovation business for over 20 years, and have focused on ensuring customer satisfaction from start to finish of each project. My experience includes but not limited to: managing trades, working with design, dealing with permit approvals, engineers, suppliers, warranties, HVAC systems, framing, drywall, electrical , plumbing, sales, project management and exterior envelopes. When starting Stay For Life, I wanted to create a company that cared for individuals and their needs as if they were my own parents and/or grand parents. I focus and excel in listening to the challenges that customers have and strive to provide immediate and long term solutions. I work with top trades and suppliers to ensure the best results for my customers.
Mike Bouchard – Operations Manager of Construction
Mike Bouchard is a red seal journeyman carpenter with a Bachelors of Science in construction management, who celebrates more than 22 years in the construction industry. He brings with him a wealth of construction knowledge having spent considerable time renovating Calgary homes, as well as commercial retrofits, general contracting, project management and upscale developments, Design-Build Renovations.
At the heart of Stay for Life are serving Calgary’s families; creating homes and spaces for a lifetime of living that encourage and support healthy family dynamics. When Mike looks at the company that they have shaped he replies, “We focus on the family first, what their needs are so we can direct lifelong solutions in helping families today and into the future.”

The Seniors Home Adaptation and Repair Program (SHARP) provides low interest home equity loans to help seniors finance necessary repairs, adaptations and renovations to their homes.
Seniors Home Adaptation and Repair Program (SHARP)
The Seniors Home Adaptation and Repair Program (SHARP) provides low interest home equity loans to help seniors finance necessary repairs, adaptations and renovations to their homes. A maximum loan of $40,000 is available to seniors and senior couples with an annual total income of $75,000 or less and who have a minimum of 25% home equity in their primary residence.
Seniors’ Self-contained Housing Program
This program provides apartment type accommodation to low and moderate income seniors who are functionally independent with or without the assistance of existing community based services. A tenant’s rent, which includes heat, water and sewer expenses, is based on 30% of a household’s adjusted income. The tenant is responsible for electricity, telephone and cable television, as well as any additional services they may request (i.e. parking). The province owns most apartments under this program, and any operating deficits are fully funded by the province through an annual budget review process. Management and tenant selection are delegated to the local housing operators. Senior citizens whose income falls below local limits (refer to 2017 Income Thresholds) and who are functionally independent, with or without the help of existing community based services, are eligible.
